Robert Giorgio started his taekwon-do school in Sudbury 12 years ago, with a small group of 20 dedicated students. Today, RGSTKD has over 25 black belt instructors to train and assist students of all levels. The school has added adult classes in Taerobixx, a form of aerobic kickboxing that has been gaining in popularity in the Metrowest area. Kidkwon-DoThe motto for Giorgio's Kidkwon-Do program is "Educate the young to produce heroic leaders." Unlike the often-violent image of the martial arts, taekwon-do can, Giorgio believes, build any child's focus, self-confidence, coordination, and discipline, whether that child is only two years old, handicapped, or learning disabled. Robert Giorgio's schools emphasize personal improvement over one's own past performance and holds yearly tournaments to let children experience their strengths and weaknesses firsthand through rising to the challenge of friendly competition. The school regularly sends teams to state and national tournaments.TAEROBIXX™Why is Taerobixx™ sweeping the Boston area? Because it gives you all the fun stuff in taekwon-do (kicking, punching, getting in shape) without any of the serious stuff (uniforms, belts, breaking boards with your head, etc.). Our instructors will have you breaking a serious sweat, and you’ll learn some serious self-defense techniques, without having to yell any foreign words. It’s hard work, but it’s the most fun way to get in shape ever! And, unlike a treadmill, learning TAEROBIXX™ will get you somewhere!
